Henry Gwynne - Freelance Sound Engineering - Live Sound
Since graduating from SAE Audio engineering college in 1998, Henry has been fortunate to work on thousands of gigs from small intimate cabaret shows to festivals or multinational company conferences. A lot of the live work he does is for corporate clients, working in a team for companies like Delta Sound or Hawthorn, or project managing and organising the sound for his own clients like Farm Africa or Sync on Green. Being a musician (well a drummer anyway) Henry really thrives in the Rock n Roll aspect of live work, and has done some great festivals such as Benicassim and Bestival. He is fully comfortable doing FOH, stage or patch for live gigs, and take on the pressures that come with all those positions.
A few artists Henry has worked with recently are Plan B, The Noisettes, Garry Barlow, Mel C, Black Madonna, Amy MacDonald, Faithless and Ian Brown. He is also doing festival backstage acoustic recordings for Off Guard Gigs which has seen him working at many of the UK summer festivals. See the Showreel page for some youtube links.
There are a great many venues in the UK but here are some of the top ones Henry has worked in: Grosvenor House, Great Connaught Rooms, Royal Courts of Justice, The Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, The County Hall, Hilton Park Lane, Westminster Park Plaza, London Metropole, NEC, Wembley Conference Centre, Earls Court, ExCel and o2 Arena
